What this project is
A small web app for freelancers. It tracks time by client and project, then turns those hours into a quote or an invoice PDF in a single click.
How Claude built it
- Explained the problem to Claude Code: tracking time and billing for it are both a headache
- Had Claude design the timer screen and the client/project data model
- Added PDF export for quotes and invoices
- Used it on real work and adjusted until it fit
The result
- No more logging hours in a spreadsheet
- Invoices go out faster and look professional
- Clear view of who got how many hours this month
