What this project is
A LINE OA chatbot that answers customer questions about products, prices and how to order, drawing on the shop’s own knowledge base. Anything it cannot answer goes to a human admin.
How Claude built it
- Collected the questions customers ask most, along with the shop’s standard answers
- Used the Claude API as the bot’s brain, answering against that knowledge base
- Wired it to the LINE Messaging API to send and receive messages
- Set a rule that any low-confidence answer gets handed straight to an admin
The result
- Customers get answers immediately, including outside business hours
- Admins get their time back for the genuinely complicated cases
- Answers stay consistent, with no mistakes on pricing
Making the bot hand over to a human when unsure matters a lot. It is what stops it from inventing answers.
