Writing Thai prompts that Claude actually gets right
Techniques specific to prompting Claude in Thai, with a working example prompt for content work.

How good is Claude at Thai?
Very good - at reading, writing, and picking up on Thai cultural context. A few techniques still push the results further.
Five techniques for Thai prompts
- State the register - “write casually” and “write formally” produce very different Thai.
- Name the audience - for example, “for SME owners who are not comfortable with technology”.
- List words to use or avoid - for example, keep “AI” as-is rather than translating it into Thai.
- Show past work - paste an old post you liked and ask for the same voice.
- Tell it to ask back - add “if you do not have enough information, ask before writing”.
An example prompt for content work
Write a Facebook caption selling a beginner Claude course.
- Audience: office workers aged 25-40 who want AI to help with their work
- Tone: friendly, a few emoji, no hard sell
- Length: 5 lines max, end with a CTA asking for comments
Adapt it and come share your results in the group.
